Methuselah's Parlor

Methuselah, the oldest, grizzled character in the Bible might have had a beard that looked like this moss, (usnea longissima). Whether or not he did, these mourning doves found shelter and security enough to attend their preening upon the covered branches.

This painting graced the walls of the 2015 NWS exhibit. It was sold before I had a chance to get it scanned. Lesson learned.
